Our goal
We want everyone to be able to use TradesKit: the website, the office app, the customer portal and the phone apps. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we do
- Text and background colours are checked for contrast in both the light and dark themes before a release.
- Office-app screens are checked against the WCAG 2.1 AA rules by an automated scan, in both themes, before a release.
- Every control can be reached with the Tab key and shows a visible focus ring.
- When a dialog opens, keyboard focus stays inside it and returns to where you were when it closes.
- The office app has a skip-to-content link, so a keyboard user can go straight past the menu.
- Form fields carry a written label, and an error is shown under the field it belongs to.
- On touch screens, buttons are at least 44 pixels tall.
Pages we don't run
Card payments, Google sign-in and app-store pages are run by those companies. We pick providers that publish their own accessibility commitments.
Tell us about a barrier
If something gets in your way, email support@tradeskit.io with the page and what happened. A person reads every message and we'll work with you on another way to get it done.
