Acceptable Use Policy
TradesKit — Field Service Management Software
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what is and is not allowed when you use TradesKit (the "Service"). It supplements the Terms of Service between you and Cascade Software Solutions LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). Violating this AUP is a material breach of the Terms of Service and may result in account suspension or termination.
1. Who This Applies To
This AUP applies to:
- You (the TradesKit customer);
- Every Authorized User you grant access to your Account;
- Every End Customer you communicate with through the Service; and
- Anyone else who uses the Service through your Account or with your credentials.
You are responsible for ensuring everyone above complies with this AUP.
2. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Service to:
2.1 Engage in or Promote Illegal Activity
Use the Service for any illegal purpose, or to plan, encourage, or assist others in illegal activity.
2.2 Infringe Intellectual Property Rights
Upload, display, or transmit content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
2.3 Violate Privacy Rights
Collect, use, or disclose personal information about any person in violation of applicable law, including by:
- Capturing photos or recordings of any person without legally required consent;
- Sharing customer or end customer information for marketing purposes without lawful basis;
- Posting or transmitting personally identifiable information about third parties without authorization;
- Failing to comply with consent requirements under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the CAN-SPAM Act, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), state two-party-consent recording laws, or analogous laws.
2.4 Harass, Defame, or Threaten
Send communications, including communications generated with the help of AI Features, that harass, bully, defame, threaten, stalk, or endanger any person.
2.5 Promote Hate, Violence, or Self-Harm
Post or transmit content that promotes hate or violence against any person or group based on protected characteristics (including race, ethnicity, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, medical condition, or veteran status). Do not post or transmit content that promotes self-harm.
2.6 Distribute Malware or Engage in Deceptive Practices
Upload or transmit viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, spyware, or other malicious code. Do not engage in phishing, pretexting, spoofing, or other deceptive practices.
2.7 Disrupt the Service or Other Customers
Engage in activity that disrupts the Service or other customers, including:
- Sending excessive requests, attempting denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise consuming resources beyond reasonable limits;
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Service except as part of an authorized security program coordinated with us;
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data;
- Interfering with backups, logging, or monitoring;
- Bypassing rate limits, authentication, or other access controls.
2.8 Reverse Engineer the Service
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, model weights, prompts, or non-public elements of the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law (and only after providing prior written notice).
2.9 Compete with the Service
Use the Service to build a competing product, copy its features for competitive purposes, scrape its non-public elements, or assist anyone else in doing the above.
2.10 Resell or Sublicense the Service
Resell, redistribute, lease, sublicense, or operate the Service as a service bureau for the benefit of any third party who has not subscribed under your Account.
2.11 Upload Prohibited Categories of Data
Do not upload or store in the Service:
- Personal information about anyone under the age of 16 unless that personal information is the minimum necessary for a legitimate residential-service-business purpose and you have obtained any consent required by law;
- Information protected by HIPAA (Protected Health Information). The Service is not designed for and is not appropriate for processing PHI. If your business handles PHI, do not use the Service to store, process, or transmit it;
- Government identification numbers (Social Security numbers, driver's-license numbers, passport numbers) other than as required by a payment-processing or background-check feature explicitly documented to handle them;
- Credit-card numbers, bank account numbers, or other full payment instrument details, other than through the Service's payment-processing surface;
- Trade secrets of third parties;
- Classified or export-controlled information;
- Sensitive Personal Information as defined under applicable state privacy laws unless the specific feature is documented to handle it.
2.12 Promote Terrorism or Support Sanctioned Parties
Do not use the Service to support, fund, or interact with terrorist organizations, sanctioned persons, or persons on U.S. or applicable government sanctioned-party lists.
3. AI-Specific Restrictions
In addition to the prohibitions in Section 2, your use of AI Features is subject to the prohibited-use restrictions in the AI Acceptable Use Addendum, including:
- Not misrepresenting AI Output as human-generated when doing so would be misleading;
- Not using AI Features to develop competing AI models;
- Not using AI Features for automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects without adequate human review;
- Not submitting AI Output to regulators, taxing authorities, insurers, or other third parties without verification;
- Not inputting Sensitive Personal Information or other restricted categories into AI Features.

4. Communications-Specific Responsibilities
Many businesses use the Service to communicate with their end customers via SMS, email, voice, and similar channels. When you do so:
- You are the sender. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and consent rules, including the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL, state autodialer laws, two-party-consent recording laws, time-of-day restrictions, and Do-Not-Call lists.
- You must obtain and document the consents required for the communications you send.
- You must honor opt-out requests promptly (within the timeframes required by applicable law).
- You must not send unsolicited commercial communications to anyone who has not lawfully opted in.
- You must not impersonate any other person or business in your communications.
5. Account Security Responsibilities
You will:
- Keep credentials confidential;
- Use strong passwords;
- Enable two-factor authentication where the Service supports it, and require it for elevated-permission Authorized Users;
- Promptly disable access for Authorized Users who leave your business;
- Notify us promptly of any actual or suspected unauthorized access to your Account; and
- Cooperate with reasonable security-related requests we make.
6. Enforcement
If we have reason to believe you or anyone using your Account is violating this AUP, we may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:
- Investigate the suspected violation;
- Restrict, suspend, or disable access to specific features or to the Account as a whole;
- Remove or disable specific content;
- Notify law enforcement or other authorities as required by law; or
- Terminate the Account under Section 11 of the Terms of Service.
We may use automated tools (including AI-based abuse detection) to identify suspected violations. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to investigate before taking irreversible action, but we may suspend immediately for urgent or severe violations.

We will investigate reports in good faith but do not commit to a specific response timeframe.
8. Changes to This AUP
We may modify this AUP from time to time. We will give you notice as described in Section 19 of the Terms of Service. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
